Dr. Gold is in charge of determining the military research and development policy for Israel including oversight of its execution. Dr. Gold is in Charge of all R&D, technology infrastructure, full-scale development, capabilities development, including special directorates (Space, UAV’s, Missile/Rocket Defense), high-end manpower development for the defense organizations, etc. Dr. Gold Holds two doctoral degrees, which he has unprecedentedly completed concurrently within a period of two years: A Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering and a Ph.D. in Business Management, Both from Tel-Aviv University.
BG (Res.) Professor Jacob Nagel is a senior fellow at FDD and a visiting professor at the Technion Aerospace Engineering Faculty. Nagel was a career Israeli civil servant official (IDF, Defense Ministry and Prime Minister’s Office) for over 40 years.
