How to talk to children about our scary world

The S&P Sephardi Community and JW3 are delighted to host a conversation with parenting expert Dr Abigail Greenwood Gewirtz, interviewed by Dr Efrat Sopher.
Dr Gewirtz is a mother of four. Her timely book supports parents in tackling frightening topics with our children. She joins us to talk about how to discuss anything from racial injustice to climate change and COVID-19, and still raise engaged and confident kids in spite of these issues.
Dr Efrat Sopher has advised governments and organisations on foreign policy in the Middle East and beyond. She is an active member of the World Jewish Congress Jewish Diplomatic Corps and has represented the WJC worldwide, including at the United Nations Human Rights Council. Efrat serves as a co-opted Board Member of the S&P Sephardi Community, she is also Chair of the Board of Advisors at the Ezri Centre for Iran and Persian Gulf Studies, and serves on the Executive Committee of the HMS Maritime Policy and Strategy Research Centre at the University of Haifa.
