Elizer Papo is a Senior Lecturer Ben-Gurion University in the Department of Hebrew Literature. He is the Chairman of Moshe David Gaon Center for Ladino Culture. He is the President of the Sefarad – Society for Sephardic Studies and the Chief Editor of El Prezente – Journal for Sephardic Studies.
