It is widely assumed that the Jewish tradition is relevant to public discourse in the Western world. Yet the substance of Judaism’s teachings and their practical relevance are hotly contested, and too often Judaism is distorted for political and even partisan purposes. So are there trends in Diaspora communities that we should in fact cultivate, or others that we ought to discourage?

This lively and interactive conversation that will explore how Jews do and should engage with the modern world.

Jonathan Neumann is the author of the bestselling book, “To Heal The World? How the Jewish Left Corrupts Judaism and Endangers Israel”Jonathan has written for various American, British, and Israeli publications, was the Tikvah Fellow at Commentary magazine, and served as an editor at Jewish Ideas Daily.
