HEBREW UNIVERSITY SCHOLARS IN CONVERSATION
at The S&P Sephardi Community
Dr Raji and Dr Quansah are Pears Scholars of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Masters programmes which enable students from the developing world to develop the skills and experience to combat their own country’s most pressing challenges.
The International Masters in Public Health programme promotes excellence in international public health research and practice, and provides students with the tools to examine public health problems in their countries and formulate relevant intervention strategies at both community and national level. The student body comprises physicians, nurses, health professionals and economists.
The Masters programmes at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment train students in the latest methods of farming techniques, protecting and rehabilitating the environment and increasing food production.
Dr Rilwan Raji’s desire is to see through the eradication of polio in Nigeria (and throughout Africa) whilst Dr Lydia Quansah is currently developing a proposal geared towards working with young people, teaching them how to start their own small-medium enterprise in food production and processing.
Entrance is free, please RSVP online
