The Haftarot read on the three Shabbatot between the Fast of Tammuz and the Fast of Av are known as the Haftarot Dipuranita (“Haftarot of rebuke”). They are sung with a unique, mournful melody, as are their introductory blessings. The blessings after the Haftara are sung as usual.
