Nancy is a Bahraini of the Jewish faith and is a former Graduate of The Sacred Heart School, Kingdom of Bahrain. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Law Degree (L.L.B. Hons.) from London, U.K. and is also an Author of a Book that outlines the History of the Jewish community of Bahrain, entitled, “From Our Beginning to Present Day.” Nancy was appointed by His Majesty in 2010 to serve as a Member of The Shura (Consultative) Council and was reappointed during 2014 and 2018, where she continues to serve in The Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee and was also elected unopposed on more than one occasion to serve as its Deputy Chairperson. Currently, she continues to serve in two Committees, the other being The Youth Affairs Committee for which she is Deputy Chairperson.

Nancy was also appointed as a member of the Coordination Committee of the Supreme Council for Women for Down Streaming Women’s Needs into the Economic Development of Society. She was also appointed as a Member of The Supreme Coordination Council for Inter-Civilization Dialogue which coordinated for the Inter-Civilization Conference. She takes great pride in representing her precious homeland and in enlightening others by sharing a well-rounded perspective as to the peaceful coexistence.
