We are embarking on a major conservation and restoration project for the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue in Lauderdale Road, a building that has stood at the heart of our community for generations. While its beauty and significance remain undiminished, the reality is that it now requires urgent and extensive works to address structural deterioration, water ingress, and the preservation of its remarkable architectural features.
Our plans have been carefully developed with a specialist conservation team and will be delivered through a clear, prioritised approach.
