Volunteer your time:
The Good Food Train delivers meals, prepared by volunteers at Lauderdale Road Synagogue to members of the community who may be on their own at home following a stay in hospital. Lauderdale Road parents welcoming a new baby into the family may also
benefit from this new resource. Since the commencement of the Good Food Train in November 2023 we have provided over 100 meals.
We welcome volunteers at one of our cooking days. To volunteer please contact Jennifer Brooke via the S&P office.
Donations welcome:
In addition to volunteers, we need donations to cover the cost of the project, not least the purchase of the raw ingredients needed to make the meals. Please help us if you are able.
