Kaddish

On Shabbat and Festivals, the Hazan sings the Kaddish prayer before Barechu – in both Arbit and Shahrit – to a variety of different melodies, which are recorded here:

The following melodies are the ones sung on “standard” Shabbatot:

Special occasions
The following melodies are sung on Shabbat when there is some sort of special occasion (Rosh Hodesh, Synagogue Anniversary Shabbat, Blessing of the New Month, reading of the 10 Commandments, etc.). They may also be sung on Festivals as an alternative to the Festival-specific melodies given below:
