Our care home has been providing exceptionally high levels of care to the Jewish community for over 200 years.
Core to our approach is the belief in ‘choice’ not ’need’ – the idea that our home is a place elderly people will want to live in, rather than because they have no other choice. With residential care, respite care, apartment living and a day centre, all these help to keep them independent for as long as possible.

The original Keren’s Nursery was set up in 2004 by Assaf and Keren Ben-Ezra in Temple Fortune where they started caring for 3 children. The aim was to create a nursery with a homely environment – almost an extended family – where children benefit from warm and loving care. Currently, they are caring for 130 children in three branches located in Hampstead Garden Suburb, Belsize Park and Holland Park.
With a highly professional team they deliver outstanding, individual, child-centred care and education. Keren’s nursery operates a key worker system under which each child, upon joining, is matched with a member of staff who takes care of all their individual needs and follows up on their development through daily observations. Children feel secure when they are able to make sense of their surroundings, so their indoor and outdoor areas have been custom-designed to provide the ideal environment in which children can develop and thrive. Specially developed to encourage children’s social interaction, these spaces provide a journey of discovery and promote emotional and physical development.
In their extended programme which runs from 8am to 6pm they provide breakfast, lunch and dinner for the children.
The food is under the supervision of the SKA.
