We welcome visitors from London and throughout the world to join us for any Shabbat at historic Bevis Marks; there is nothing quite like it. When you enter Bevis Marks you will feel yourself transported back in time, mesmerised by the authentic traditions and melodies of the Spanish & Portuguese Jews.

Friday: Winter: 6pm. Summer: 7.30pm
Shabbat morning: 9am
Visitors wishing to attend Shabbat services are asked to please click here to complete an online registration form for security purposes. Please do not bring passports on Shabbat as there is not yet an eruv in the area.
KIDDUSH
Every Friday night following services, everyone is welcome to attend our ‘Candles and Kiddush,’ for a light bite, socialising, words of Torah and songs. Shabbat mornings also feature a kiddush at the conclusion of the services.

SHABBAT MEALS
NEW for Summer 2026: We are delighted to be able to offer Shabbat Meals During July and August 2026, both Friday Night and Shabbat Lunch.
Meals must be reserved and paid for in advance.
Choose from meat (usually Chicken) or Vegan options. Please email us with other dietary requirement and we’ll try to accommodate.
Includes soft drinks and Challah.
Meals are provided by a caterer under KLBD supervision.
Bookings must be made by 9am on the Wednesday before the Shabbat you would like to come.
Bookings are non-refundable after that time.

ACTIVITIES
Bevis Marks Synagogue is located relatively near many free museums including Museum of London, Tate Modern, and Guildhall Art Gallery. The synagogue is a ten-minute stroll from the River Thames, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the South Bank Promenade, and a bit further to the Globe Theatre.
